Would Jesus Discriminate? Town Hall Meeting
The "Town Hall Meeting" was a way of continuing our conversation about discrimination. We gathed on October 20th 2008 at 7PM at St. John the Apostle MCC, 3049 McGregor Bvld. Our presenters for the Town Hall Meeting are:
 

Rev. Walter Fohs, Pastor of Lamb of God Church.

Rev. Fohs will present a description of the history
of discrimination and the church's involvement
 in that discrimination.		 Rev. Tibbs will offer an examination on the discrimination in the life of individuals and families Rev. Filizzi will examine Biblical texts that have been used to support discrimination particularly in regards to Gay and Lesbian persons.
 
Even through each Church comes from different paths of the Christian journey, we know we walk the path together and are committed to a future where people of all faiths will share the grace we all receive form our loving God. This was followed with an opportunity to ask questions of the presenters, not in the sense of debate but in the hope of understanding.
